About the Nuclear Hydrogen Study Group
In December 2006, the National Hydrogen Association approved the formation of a Nuclear Hydrogen Study group in order to:

  1. Provide a forum for discussion between the hydrogen industry and the nuclear industry

  2. Provide a venue in which organizations can come together to discuss issues specific to nuclear energy and its application to the production of hydrogen

  3. Examine the ways in which nuclear energy can support the transition to a hydrogen economy

  4. Create a networking forum in which businesses can come together to both share information and experience

  5. Analyze the public's perception of hydrogen production from nuclear energy, and develop ideas for public outreach and education that build on community support and address public concerns
