The song, "Since I Choose To Live," heard in the mix of music over the sound system before the keynote sessions begin each morning, was written and recorded by Marcie Downing from central Indiana (2007). She was inspired to compose it after reading "The Hydrogen Age" by Geoffrey B. Holland and James J. Provenzano.
Marcie explains, "I have read about various alternative forms of clean-energy for years, including hydrogen. After I read this book, I was moved to write a song that conveyed the importance of improving our environment. I wanted to start with the internal environment—one’s consciousness, and flow outward to the external environment—the earth. It is my hope, expressed through music, that through an aroused collective consciousness we will all recognize various opportunities to unite for the healing of the planet." www.marciedowning.com
